About
Penny V. Ayers has been practicing law in York County for ten years, in the areas of family law, general practice, and municipal law. With the majority of her practice in family law, she is well-versed in divorce, custody, support, adoption, prenuptial agreements, guardianships, and name changes. Penny is also a trained mediator as well as a parent coordinator and regularly provides mediation services in family law.
Penny completed her undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with a B.A. in French and a minor in Japanese, and completed her J.D. at Dickinson School of Law in 1999. She is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme court. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and York County Bar Associations, and the Family Law Section of the York County Bar.
A native of Dillsburg, Penny is active in the York community, having served on local boards, including the York County YMCA, and the Jewish Community Center. She completed the Leadership York Program in 2004. She resides with her family in Spring Garden Township.
