About

Co-founder of Senft Law Firm in 2004, John concentrates his practice in a variety of areas, including corporate and business law, labor and employment law, wills and estate planning and administration, commercial real estate, litigation, and family law.

John is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to opening Senft Law Firm, John previously practiced at Whiteford, Tayalor & Preston (one of the largest private firms in Baltimore) and at Barley Snyder, where he chaired the firm’s employment law practice group. He has provided legal services to individuals and employers of all sizes throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Born and raised in York, John is an active member of the community and is a recent recipient of the “40 Under 40” Award, given to community and business leaders in Central Pennsylvania. He has served on a variety of boards and committees in the area, including Martin Library, York Country Day School, Big Brothers – Big Sisters, the Lafayette Club, the Jewish Community Center, Communities that Care, and the York County Cultural Alliance
